Super fun crowed no drama older crowed music is awesome and drinks made well.

Love this place for a little dive bar feel but amazing music and live music. Inexpensive drinks that are often a heavy pour. Nice non-fru-fru place.

Music is great. But it's non inviting due to the bartender. He's bit of a prick, at the bar it's a hostile place. Looks like a locals only. So you may want to find a different place. His name was joey. So I'm guessing he was the owner.. good luck...

Love me some Joe's on Friday evenings! It's packed with people ready to dance the night away to live country music. The fish and chips are tasty, and the staff is helpful (Rhonda is the cutest!)

Great bartender, great venue, great music, the DJ started off kinda strange after the band but got better. Monday night is swing I hear, and may be tempted to go more often for that.
Fyi, bartender either knows his stuff or is good with the placebo enough to give him 60% tip. I never do that.

I got the impression by the decent sized stage area and large amount of empty tables that this is primarily a music venue. So I have to be up-front in saying this review is NOT reviewing it as a music venue as there wasn't anyone playing when I visited. I met a friend here for dinner and drinks before our appointment in the building next door. I had not been in here before and got there a little earlier before my friend.

The bartender/waitress was incredibly friendly as if I'd know her for years! Very kind and gave perfect service. I did feel a little like the beginning of American Werewolf in London when it was clear I wasn't a regular and the other scattered six gentlemen at the bar were... but the waitress made me feel totally comfortable and welcome.

The place has a cool ambience that really feels like it could be anywhere USA. They don't have a large selection of beer, but I enjoyed my IPA. They have giant glasses that I didn't see until after 2 beers... next time I'm asking for the large class! I ordered a phili cheesesteak and jalapeno poppers and they were both very good. The cheesesteak could have been much bigger... it wasn't super filling, but it was DELICIOUS!!! The fries are great here and the poppers were awesome too! I don't make a habit of ordering this type of food... but when it rome, it brings me back to my college days and I had a great time.

So I really enjoyed myself here. I love quiet places where you can talk with a friend. For us, this was that. I'm sure that changes come music time, but that's another thing.

Live music in a dimly lit, intimate setting. Different music for different nights ranging anywhere from Country to Swing to heavier folk.

Drinks are fairly priced and the staff is awesome.

Great "local" bar and music spot with a world wide reputation. The music loving owner has jazz, country, rock, and Irish music all in the same week, the way a good European radio station would handle good music. Comfy atmosphere and local dancing groups show up for their genre (eg. Irish music, Irish dancers). Love having a real pub, American style, right here in little ole Burbank.

This is a really cool place- I loved the very American atmosphere and the live music and the dancing. They really need a coat check or somewhere to put your things while you're dancing though because it made me uncomfortable to leave them on a table and I did have cash stolen from my wallet. I'd love to go back, but I wouldn't go alone again.

My star credit giving to this place is only for the music. Live music playing every single day, and it could be real good stuff! Services is HORRIBLE. Basically there's no service at all @ tables. Bartenders-male/female r acting as if they own this place, or if they own the whole world?! They don't provide customer service but giving u bad attitude as if u need to bag on ordering n pay, they do not care! However, they r paying full attention to chase u down w/no ordering...I wanna work here, easy money s-it!

My first time here. Great atmosphere and crowd on blues jam night. Bartenders were a bit dismissive if you weren't a regular.

This is a good music venue. Very popular with the swing dancers. The music varies in genre so check to find out what is on. They do food but I haven't eaten there.

Good sound system nice dance floor good margaritis and surprisingly good food.

An 8 piece jazz band played and the dance floor was packed with swing dancers. Joey the bar tender worked fast to keep drinks filled. The waitress brought food. Trey the soumd guy had the band sound swinging loud and clear. We had a great time. No cover charge.The parking lot in the back of the building was a bit difficult to back out of though.

Very crowded which is fine but food took a looong time to arrive-But-service was great and food and cocktails were very good and decently priced.

Great food, actually, unusually good for a bar, friendly wait staff & bar, good to great live music. I don't drink so I can comment on the drinks but the people seem to like them! Big dance floor with good sound system. What's not to like... except the cigarette smoke outside the front door.

It's a great place to hangout and listen to great music. Also, they have dance lessons on Tuesdays. The food is delicious my most favorite is the taquitos they are the best! Plus the alcoholic beverages are super affordable I love it

Awesome divey bar that does swing music and dancing right! Every Monday they bring in high-quality musicians and bands for their Happy Feet Monday shows. No cover and only a two drink minimum (or $6 per person) We frequently drive all the way up from San Diego on a Monday, so that should tell you about the quality of the entertainment. The dances attract 80-120 people on an average night.

The drinks aren't anything special. The live music was annoying as hell. Unless you are coming here specifically for dancing or you know the band that's playing and you like them, don't bother. Total dive.

Cool neighborhood bar with great bands. Pedestrian Cocktails. Very limited wine selection. This is a beer joint. The menu is comfort food. Fabulous bands and friendly vibe. PRO TIP: The roast beef sandwich is excellent.

This is my favorite bar in LA. This is a good classic neighborhood bar with an older crowd of mostly professional drinkers but they do also have a variety of live music that brings in younger people too. There s a small dance floor and a lot of seating around the bar itself. The only reason I give it one less star is because the food isn t that great. Don t get me wrong, I ve eaten plenty of and it s fine for bar food, just not exciting.

I enjoyed dancing to a live band, the Ploughboys. No cover, just buy food or a drink.

Fun, gritty bar with a mixed bag of bands from nearly every genre standard (except bubble gum pop), swing dancers on occasion, nicely priced drinks, and some rather decent beer food. Leave your attitude at home. If you've got 'um, wear your cowboy boots.

Tuesday Night Review

This place has a small stage, dance floor, jukebox, electronic darts, and plenty of places to chill. I walked in not knowing what to expect and walked into live Swing music, nice! This place is not pretentious, so feel free to dance with everyone! I didn't make it to their class, but they have a short session at 8:30pm.

They seem to have swing dancing on Monday and Tuesday. Not a bad place, if you don't mind the crowd having a wide age range.

Great LIVE music venue in Burbank. Bar food, beer, drinks.

Tuesday swing nights!!!! Need i say more?... Great spot for drinks (not sure about food but the fries are addicting)! Title loves up to the atmosphere inside! Staff is wonderful!!

Not much experience at this place i was there for the first time, I wanted to eat something but the kitchen was already closed, there was some live music as I walked in but that was the last tune they played, First experience! not much to experience at all.

Very casual bar and grill with standard bar menu, I can recommend the onion rings. :-) they also frequently have live music which is fun but be prepared for it to be very loud in this small venue. A great place to hang out and enjoy a variety of bands.

The waitresses were very impatient. Not a lot of beer selection. I got a budweiser which is my go to and even that tasted sour. Unfortunate. I can not recommend this place...

Had requested a bench seat prior to our visit but the host attempted to seat us elsewhere. Had my coat in my hand and literally had to hold it out to this host for him to finally offer to take it for me. At an upscale place this should be done without hesitation. The food was delicious.
