In my opinion, this is how it went... First, we were assigned a room on the 3rd floor... 2 flights up with our dog. Staff never asked if we would like help bringing our belongings up to our room. We were never informed about breakfast in the basement and wine cheese in the early evening. There was NO ONSITE PARKING! And there is no area outside of their premises for dogs to relieve themselves, yet, they are pet friendly, seriously??? And being on the 3rd floor of a very old building with small, slanted stairs two flights up with a dog, in my opinion, is just not right!!! They do not tell you in advance what floor your room is on. I complained and then we were moved to a small little room with a high rise queen size bed, no fireplace and a loveseat that when sat on, the cushions sunk to the ground. The room was very cold. Again, I complained and then was offered a room in back of the office. NOISY TO THE MAX!! My husband talked to the manager on Monday and asked if we could shorten our stay by one night because we were not happy with having to move three times. SHE CLEARLY SAID NO ! In my opinion, paying $219/night for a cold and drafty place is a TOTAL RIPOFF! We were not refunded our payment for the last night. What a way to start the New Year!! In my opinion, please ... anyone who is thinking of staying at this Inn, read this REVIEW!!!!
