I would say this resort is just okay. It s beautiful, don t get me wrong there. But there s is a lack of events, only 3 places to eat, and no landscaping on balcony s or walkways into the main living buildings. The continental breakfast was a buffet my husband and I didn t care for at all, cold $70 breakfast. Luckily, there were a lot more restaurants about a half mile down the road that we were able to walk to. They do a black rock ceremony every night, the same exact ceremony. Where a guy lights the tiki out on the rock and jumps off the cliff. It was cool the first few nights but when that s the only night time activity they offer it gets kind of boring. They do have a luau right here next to the beach but ours was cancelled due to the rain. We were told by other staff members that it was odd because they usually just bring it inside. So one of the main things I wanted to do the night before we left was canceled. I know the weather is not the resorts fault, but have a back up plan each and every luau in case it does rain. Also, We called down twice to tell customer service our neighbor was smoking the gal called back and said I had maintenance go check and they re not smoking on their balcony. So the front desk didn t trust me that they were so the whole trip we couldn t leave our door open to hear the sound of the beach because the front desk wouldn t ask our neighbor to quit smoking.
