The campground and RV sites seem nice, but I would not recommend staying in the cabins. We were moved to the admirals cabin after the yurt we were supposed to stay in was not completed in time. We were told by several employees that this was their nicest cabin. We arrived to a cabin that had clearly not been entered for some time, there was at least a weeks worth of pollen on the porch if not two weeks worth. The inside and outside of the cabin smelled of kerosene, we turned off the heater and alerted the front desk twice before anyone came to look at it. The maintenance man literally came and turned the heater on again and told us to open the windows of the smell got too strong. We just went without heat for our stay, rather than having headaches from the fumes. The grill outside was disgusting, and had an empty propane tank, which the maintenance man did get us a new one quickly. The WiFi did not work when we arrived and was not fixed until the next day. The inside of the house was covered in spiderwebs. I decided to wash all the bedding we were using since the house did not seem like it had been attended to in quite some time and discovered that the beds did not have mattress pads or protective covers. The kitchen counter had several stains on it that I was able to get up with a little scrubbing. The couches were dirty and extremely worn. No coverings on the windows, to block any of the 24 hours of daylight in the summer. I would never stay here again.
