I'm in the emergency room RIGHT NOW. I've been waiting here since 0400 and it is currently 0731. At around 0545, I asked the front desk what the hold up was. The gentleman replied they were "clearing out the beds". There is a young man in the ER that is in excruciating pain and not ONE nurse checked on him until I went to find the patient advocate.These people are not the caring people I thought they were. At least tell people what's going on. Terrible and not the true definition of what I thought the VA is supposed to stand for. There is no way this was rated one of the best VAs in the country with this careless behavior.
