Just a small town girl, livin in a lonely world. She took a weekend drive up to Mifflinburg.... My best friend and I were on a weekend trip to a cabin and the rain ruined our plans for fishing and campfires. Fortunately we found a Google listing for Rusty Rail. We walked into the Brewery and were greeted by lovely hostesses. The place was already bustling at 4:30 PM with a nice dinner crowd. We opted for seats at the spacious and beautiful bar. The aesthetic is industrial and historic yet modern and bright. Immediately the bartender Phil welcomed us with a great personality and speedy service. The other bartender, an adorable and peppy blonde was also super cool. Phil took our orders of flights and patiently walked us through the beer selections with a casual and approachable demeanor tagt is rare in the brewery scene these days. He didn't challenge my friends dislike of IPA's with the usual condescension and instead was super excited to offer her all the other beers they had available. I enjoyed every beer in my flight. The Creek Surfer and Wanderlust were my favorites. We shared and order of pierogies and they came out hot and delicious. The crowd was welcoming and chill. It was the sort of place I would love to take colleagues and friends. We ordered an 8 pack of bottles and a growler to go and I am so glad we did!
