Spent New Years '17 in one of the Studio suites that apparently have recently been renovated.
THE GOOD: The wood floors gave the room a very homey feel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I'm led to believe the pillows and mattress were made of memory foam or similar type design.
The furniture was also wood to compliment the floors, and the white linens were the additional complimenting factor.
The room was also very spacious and very comfortable for 2 people to share without bumping into each other.
Lastly, though the hotel was completely full, it was very quiet in the room and in the hallways.
THE BAD: The wired Ethernet ports in the room did not work, but there was Wifi (more on that later). The bathroom didn't have a lock (not really a con, but worth mentioning).
GRIPES : Upon checking in, I felt very nickel and dimed. $24 per day for valet parking or $18 per day to park myself. Mandatory $25 per day per room for wifi and amenity fees. Though I guess one may overlook this with the offer of 1 free DVD rental and 1 free medium cup of Starbucks regular coffee (or bottle of water). Plus the usual taxes. Thankfully my booking agent included these fees prior to me booking the room, but another patron was not happy about discovering these additional fees on top of the room rates.
OTHER THINGS: The pool was quite spacious. Large enough to allow for splashing kids on one end, another patron swimming laps in the middle, and a few adult simply relaxing on another end. The jacuzzi was also present. All were quite clean, yet did no wreak or chlorine.
The bartender around the pool was also a pleasant to chat with.
The fitness center is quaint. A few treadmills, elliptical machines, and stationary cycles. It also had free weights and 2 reclinable benches, a larger full body weight machine, and a few other things, and again, very spacious.
The staff were all courteous and friendly, the location was fairly close to the theme parks. The contention center can be seen from the hotel, but it's quite a walk to the front entrance, so consider an Uber or similar service.
In short, I have a few gripes and complaints, but ultimately I did thoroughly enjoy my stay. The room was very clean, the television worked quite well and I was able to flip through about 60-stations. There temperature control inside each individual room, and the view was quite nice eventhough a portion of it consisted of the parking garage. For the price, amenities, location, and experience I feel satisfied ranking it 5/5.
