Great to see it and drive across but traffic was mental. We went on a Saturday around midday and the parking was all chock a block. We eventually parked in a spot on the city side of the bridge. It can be bitterly cold even when 30 degrees c in the lower bay area(day we went it was 13 degrees c at bridge) so bring a coat or windbreaker. Fog often covers so check conditions before u go
