This place is nice and the two bedroom apartments ...

This place is nice and the two bedroom apartments are roomy, but it has a huge roach problem in the summer time. They are in the stairwells and walk right in the front door sometimes when you open it!! There are roaches of every size and color. I have never lived in a place with such an infestation in my life and the staff just says it's a yearly issue and acts like it is no big deal! They tried to blame it on the heat! Well I have lived in the south for 7 years and I have never had this issue anywhere else I have lived and it was hot there too! I haven't slept a full night through or with the lights off in weeks. I have only lived here for two months and it was the biggest mistake I ever made!
Update: Once we caulked every crevice in the apartment it was much better and once the weather got cooler the problem stopped. It is November and I haven't seen one since September. Thank God! The maintenance people are very nice and helpful but they aren't always the quickest at getting there. Overall it's not bad, I just pray I don't relive the roach issue next year.
