Good for the seniors of Southern origin but not for me. TIMES SQUARE NYC I spent the first 50 years of my life in. Its just that Urban city folks from Big cities like Atlanta, LA, Chicago and such can find no pleasure in very small quiet places.

The place to go if you are 55 and over. You can exercise, learn new things like line dance, Tai Chi, belly dancing, Tai Chi for arthritis. There is always something there to do. You also get to meet new friends. So if you are 55 and over don't sit at home go to the Durham Center for Senior Life, enjoy your days with people your own age.

Safe haven for seniors to see friends . Games and scheduled special events as well as gym equipment for free use. Also has PharmAssist on site. They are a group of caring professionals that can in some cases help lower your cost of Rx. Twice a year meetings to talk about your state of mind as well as physical well being. You get a PharmAssist member card you can use in addition to your Medicare to get lower prices. Their service is not only caring but totally free.

Great facility! A hidden gem...never knew about this building until I attended a jazz brunch here. It's a great open space that is conducive to a lot of uses. Can't really comment on any of the regular programming that they have, but the event that I attended was great!
