We stayed 4 nights at the Pestana and it was excellent. The staff are very dear and accomodating, the loft suite we stayed in was huge and had even super comfortable king size bed. The hotel is undergoing renovations and I believe that when finished everything will be perfect. With all certainty it is the best view and the best swimming pool of the Rio Vermelho neighborhood. Fantastic location close to restaurants, bars and concert halls being able to go on foot. Other than that, the history of the hotel is quite interesting, so it is a pleasure to be in such a traditional place in Salvador.
