20 years ago there were foreign auto parts stores, where German branded parts and metric was spoken. They disappeared as large franchised chains popped up, but they don't carry oem brands or speak metric as well. As a shady tree mechanic, I like the local experience of picking up a part from a person. It's great that they offer at least three options fot most parts, speak metric and special tools, and stand behind their products. For me, they combine the inventory of an online foreign car parts supplier with local walk-in convenience.
