First time there today, 6-25-17, and I didn't have a great experience. First off we were very excited to visit because I've followed Dr.Evans on fb for several years now. We recently moved near Dallas so it was a great chance to hear him and experience the service Live. 1) We were directed to park far off (we arrived 40 mins early) 2)I had to ask sooner where children's service was located and to my surprise it was ACROSS THE STREET and not even close to where the sanctuary is. I have small kids (ages 1 & 3) so that's a big minus 3) When we entered the church, no one greeted us, we felt lost and I, again, approached someone and told them we were first time guest. She showed us to the sanctuary 4) They had communion nut no one told us and gave us the opportunity to participate in it. It must only be for members of something, I don't know. 5) When we stood for the acknowledgment of first time guest, an usher was to give us a flyer but when he came over to us, he said he ran out of flyers so I'll have to come back again (won't that be my 2nd visit).
Then Tony Evans was away so I didn't get to hear him anyway. I don't know if I'll come back. It wasn't welcoming, helpful, or anything along those lines.
