My step-father was recently admitted to the Harris...

My step-father was recently admitted to the Harris tower for some major medical issues. He's retired Air National Guard and isn't a complainer... they have not managed his pain whatsoever. If he didn't ask, they didn't care. If he did ask it still took forever. We got conflicting information on a daily basis. No one knows anything except the specialists. We even had a floor doctor, Sunday (Dr. Patel) tell him that he didn't need his surgery or an oncologist because he didn't have cancer. Guess what... we are in pre-OP now and he most certainly will be seeing an oncologist for radiation. Luckily, this department seems more lucid than the floor he was on. Also... we told 3+ people he was lactose intolerant plus he was diagnosed as a diabetic with a blood sugar of 847 the day he was transported. The dietary department keeps sending nothing but carbs... CHEESE pasta with baked potato, rice and a roll.. that's not good for glucose levels. The valet is AWESOME though.

UPDATE: just because you see them respond here doesn't mean they actually respond. I emailed as requested.... no response.
