Its an awesome sight to look at this great standing monument in front of your eyes.
The best way is to ride on the free ferry from stathen island station and statue will come across your right side. Go out on the deck on upper floors and take pictures or videos while enjoying the ride. There is one cafe on the ferry too and the ride is highly safe for families, elderly or people with special needs etc.
