My family joined Suda this year in February. They had a special going on if you signed up by February 29th it was $2,000 for the year. Spent over $1,000 in equipment for the kids. March 16th came around and the pandemic hit. Suda closed down until mid June. We barely had 2 weeks of classes for the kids to learn anything. On March 16th they started virtual classes however we didn't do the virtual classes because we signed up for hands on and had no interest in virtual. When they opened in June we chose not to send the kids because we weren't comfortable due to the Corona Virus. No matter how much they said they kept the dojo clean, it's our children and we weren't exposing them to anything or anyone especially not a contact sport. I contacted Professor J. Hill on July 13th and asked if they had plans on refunds because we weren't comfortable sending our kids back and with the way the pandemic was going we had no idea when things would get better. Schools weren't even opening and even if they were we wouldn't send our kids. He said no refunds only that they would extend the membership 2 months (which made no sense considering the point was we weren't going to expose our children to any of that) said that the pandemic wasn't his fault and basically just plain out was inconsiderate and didn't even try to understand where we were coming from. We spent $2,000...I could see them keeping some money that would have been fine but to not refund anything. Scammers. They really made money off of us! Absolutely unbelievable, unprofessional, inconsiderate. I will be reporting them to the BBB.
