Our property manager Jennifer is beyond unprofessional and needs to better define her role as a manager. Upon moving in we received keys mere hours before our lease started, and were only given one set from them (Tryad). Nooklyn thankfully gave us their set they use to show the apartments so we could each have a set. Communication with Jen was poor and assigned us (tenant) with the task of figuring out why a lock was on the Gas in basement when we couldn't cook for the first week. The contractor said this same problem happened with the last tenant and they were upset for having to come out to Brooklyn from New Jersey to just turn around. I was patched into a three way call with Jenn and the contractor, in which she didn't address me, but told the contractor to tell me what to do! She then lied stating this has never happen before (Lock on Gas) when contractor prior confirmed it had.

I then had a question about why my rent check hadn't been cashed 7 days after the 1st. Jen told me to contact some one else and gave me their contact. I then ask if she could call him because I was busy at work. She then said I could email him as well.

I am confused as to how Jen manages the property, when it is apparent she manages the tenant and not said property.
