I'm not a fan of this place. First off, when I applied with my cousin, the gentlemen who signed us up seemed to be flirting with my cousin and kept talking down to me as if I was the inferior partner in this group membership just because my cousin's credit card was used for the sign up process.

After sinking several shots in the basket for their "bonus" program, he quickly ignored the fact that I won 100 "club bucks" and said he'll be putting it on my cousin's account instead.

Every time I entered the gym, there would be an awkward moment where I wasn't sure to acknowledge him or ignore him because he would occasionally say hi and occasionally look me off.

Furthermore, the "club bucks" I won and the "club bucks" I earned through an assortment of suggested activities didn't show up for several months even though the staff and bonus card itself declared that a week would be all I needed to wait.

The free personal trainer session I had seemed to judge me on the spot and rushed through my training because he assumed I didn't want to pay for his training.

I was a very quiet person at this place, but always polite. I never gave attitude nor disrespected any staff members. I'm not sure if it was a race issue or not, but seeing how it is a predominantly rich white area, I could see how some prejudice might have existed.

Terrible experience. Beautiful gym. Ugly experience.
