So disappointing! The only thing good about our experience was the 5 star customer service we received from all the staff we encountered. We expected so much more from a Ritz Carlton. Our peaceful and serene beach getaway was not what we received, so bad that we chose to check out a day early.

The room was worn out and could use a update. The chair arms were peeling, the carpet was old and "security" lock appeared to have been ripped out of the wall before. The hallway and seating areas near the room were beat up and a cushion missing from the couch.

Before 8:30am our quiet morning was jarred by a loud drilling, hammering and scraping noise that didn't let up for hours. There was a crowd gathered near our room that was so loud in their conversation that we could make out parts of their discussion. The loud morning noise drug on until after 11am. There was nothing peaceful and serene about our stay.

The hotel was a terrible disappointment and I do not recommend it. It is is need of some serious upgrades. I will stay at the Montage or Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort again for a much better experience.
