July 2016

Location:
The location of the hotel is just great. There is always something going on in Friedrichshain, with tons of cafes and bars right outside the door. U-Bahn / S-Bahn can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. The view of the Spree is beautiful and invites you to take a walk.
(My tip right at the intersection there is a SchnitzelHaus "Sheers Schnitzel" different schnitzel variants for the small budget, everything homemade and super delicious * - *)

Hotel room:
We had a double room in the color combination pink-gold with a king-size bed, a view of the Spree and breakfast. The room is modern, clean, air-conditioned and spacious. The bathroom is integrated into the room through glass walls and doors and therefore not isolated in terms of bathroom noises: -D Which, however, didn't bother us.
A plus point is that it was possible to completely darken the curtains.

The breakfast was very varied with different sausages, cheese and jams, to honey straight from the honeycomb, small baked goods, yoghurt and cereal selection,
It was great that there was a sign indicating gluten and lactose.
For the high price, I find it bad that the staff simply did not provide any service, such as offering coffee or explaining possible orders. At some point we found out that pancakes can be ordered with maple syrup. We tried it was also very tasty, but unfortunately only on our own request. We were told that there was an order card, but we couldn't find it anywhere.
The highlight for us was the freshly squeezed O juice!

Personnel / service
The staff was always friendly and tried very hard. On arrival the TV didn't work, less than 2 minutes after the report someone came and fixed the problem. In the bar area we had to wait 15 minutes for a drink (you have to say that all seats were occupied and very busy), but we got this as compensation on the house.
