I went to the women s imaging center for the appointment THEY called me with. I was nervous about my diagnosis and it was an emotional day for me. After the first test, I was told to wait and another woman would come get me in a minute for the next procedure.
While waiting, I heard a woman stomping down the hallway saying who in the hell told her that her appointment time was 9:30?, who books these appointments?
She was loud, rude and unprofessional. She made me feel horrible and I got dressed and tried to leave. My husband insisted I stay because of my situation and he joined me for the next procedure. The front desk lady tried to console me as I was crying, even saying the woman was talking about someone else, but it was obvious. The lady who did the next procedure was rude, short and had an attitude, even with my husband there. I scheduled my next procedure and specifically requested it be done somewhere else.
Sad, that s how SGMC treats their own. I gave them 6 years of my working career and my husband has gave them over a year. Funny, we were held to a higher standard when working there!
