Was extremely disappointed with the quality of the bed. My husband and I typically stay at Westin properties because of their comfy mattresses. Not here! Our bed was hard as a rock! Both of us toss and turned all night, not getting a wink of sleep. Also, there needs to be more specific signage on how to get to the pool/beach from guest rooms. It is not marked clear enough and the customer representative checking us in was rude and wanted to rush us away from the check-in desk so quickly we never got a chance to even ask. We checked in about 1 PM on Saturday afternoon and we tried to go to the pool for a couple of hours however there was not a chair to be found! They have so many cabana rentals taking up space that it limits the amount of free chairs available. And those chairs were full of people or had towels in them indicating they were reserved. So we had to lay our belongings on the edge of the pool wall and hope that no one walked away with them while we were in the pool. We kept an eye on those chairs that had towels on them with no people, and they remained empty the whole time we were there! They should of had a staff member present at the pool monitoring this to allow all guests to have access to chairs and prevent hoarding . However, there was no staff present with the exception of two servers that only provided service to you if you rented a cabana. Otherwise you had to walk up to the bar to get your drinks.

We order food from the poolside bar/restaurant Splash . My husband had a hot dog with fries. He said it was ok . I ordered hummus with vegetables and pita chips. It was terrible. The hummus was gritty and warm and the veggies (carrots, celery and cucumbers sticks) were also lukewarm. And we didn t have pool chairs so we had to sit on a wall near the pool to eat our food as we sat looking at all the empty chairs!!!

Parking at night was an issue too. We left the property for dinner when it was still day light and were parked in the surface light. When we returned, it was dark and the surface lot was filled and we needed to park in the underground garage. The signage for this garage is extremely hard to find given how dark it is and finding a spot was difficult too. And again, no one told us about this underground garage either when we checked in, not the front desk or the bellman we had to find it on our own IN THE DARK!

We are faithful Marriott Bonvoy members and typically opt for Westin properties, however this experience has us re-evaluating.
