I used to love Baked By Melissa, and was looking forward to visiting during a recent trip to the city. The cupcakes were always good, and I love the unique size. However, a few years ago they were $20 for 25 cupcakes, and now the price is $30. That is a 50% price increase and absolutely not worth it for the amount of product you get. I would say the entire tray equates to "maybe" two and a half regular sized cupcakes by weight. The pricing is extremely disappointing, even for NYC.

The staff at this location were very friendly. I bought a pack only because we had walked a long way from our hotel and were celebrating a birthday. The cupcakes in this pack were just okay, some were super dry, while others were actually wet/moist, leaving residue in the container. Due to this and the pricing, we probably won't be visiting again.
