I ve been extremely disappointed as a ford customer. On a nice day leaving the gym I came out to find my back window shattered. After making a police report and reviewing video tape it was clear that my window had spontaneously shattered. I was confused but apparently this is something other customers have been experiencing. Ford was unwilling to cover or assist with the cost of labor or replacement, even with a police report stating the evidence. I was told they would not cover it because I didn t not purchase the car brand new. Even though I bought the vehicle less than a year old with 19,000 miles on it. So I had to pay $1,000 to replace the back window.

Many people working at the Ford service center also informed me that back windows in many ford models are shattering, as well as the panoramic sunroofs! - How is this ok?? Or safe??

Not too long after this, My back hatch refused to open. (There is no way to open it manually). After hours of trouble shooting, I had to take it back to Ford. They replaced the latch for a cost of $609.

Ford should stand behind their vehicles.
They were given clear evidence that the window they installed shattered randomly and they did not think to install a manual release for their hatch back.

These are 2 examples of things happening to many customers. They are not making recalls or standing behind their product. They are charging the customer and I will not be Ford customer again in the future, unless they start standing behind their product.
