I was there on 9:00 h in October waiting in line. It would have been better to reserve a ticket and an appointment but it was ok. Inside is a dream castle with all the details, furniture, architect and art. Louis XIV ordered to build it and here it is standing in all his fancy till today. We took the little car to visit the gardens and the little castles that surround it. Worth the wait and the costs. Look for the museum rooms, we were alone there for a while. Visit it enjoy it.
