beautiful cabin staying at rising eagle lodge, but problems from day one. toilet in third floor leaking into the basement, half the electric outlets didnt work, the dish network did not work for the entire 5 day trip in any of the entertainment rooms. You could smell sewage from the septic on the back balcony. we had to call them 3-4 times with issues. The cooking utensils were inadequate for a 8 bedroom cabin. they told us when we checked in that dog carriers are mandatory in case maintenence has to come in. $25 a dog. would have been nice to know in advance. bees everywhere outside, and also coming in through the walls somewhere. kept finding bees inside everywhere. this caused my nephew to get stung. scared me because my dogs are highly allergic to bee stings, luckily they made it out without being stung. we still had a good time, but after spending 2-3k for the cabin, it wasnt the experience we should have had. we told Eden Crest of the bad time and was offered a $25 gift voucher. don't rent from here.
Now they respond back.... Here's my response.. pet fees we were not informed about untill arrival. The satellite issue was never fixed in any of the living room areas. Satellite only worked in the bedrooms. The satellite card you say was missing, indead was not missing. See you have to lie to try and turn this around. No TV in living room areas. If we all wanted to watch a movie together we would have to pile in a bedroom. I worked for dish for a few years in tech support so don't try to play this like it's my fault which is bad customer service that your pointing the finger. You don't argue with customers. The bees, the cabin can be treated for pests. Bees were coming through the walls. It was more than the bees just being outside. Don't try to underplay it like you have all my other issues. Also the fill valve was leaking before we got there. I understand you cannot anticipate this and it was fixed same day, but you should be inspecting your cabins which would have avoided us having to call you for this issue. Ican tell you I promise this will be a well known issue on social media. You guys are a horrible company and will not get any more of our business. Keep your voucher cheap skates.
