My car buying experience at Chatham Parkway Lexus ...

My car buying experience at Chatham Parkway Lexus was not a great one...6 months ago my wife and I contacted Chatham Parkway Lexus to learn about our options following the expiration of our lease. We were considering buying, leasing, or just purchasing our expiring lease, a 2014 ES 350. We met Sam...he introduced us to the RX450HL and we explained to him, "when the 3rd row version was available, let us know and we'd buy one for the right price". Many months went by as we waited to hear if one was available. Finally, we decided to call Chatham Parkview Lexus on our own due to our lease expiring in a few weeks. Magically, Sam had access to a new RX450HL in the color we were looking for...one with a $62,659 price tag. I informed him that his website was advertising this vehicle for a price of $52,000 and I would like that price. He explained, that he was unaware of an RX450HL at that price and said that price didn't exist. So I asked him to send me the dealer invoice on the car in question so I may see what the vehicle price was starting at. He elected to send me some customer invoice showing exactly the numbers supporting his price. It also had the Vin number on the car...I decided to Google the Vin and found it in Macon GA with Butler Lexus. I contacted Butler and was introduced to Art, who turned out to be a really straight shooter. I asked him about the RX450HL in his inventory. He immediately offered it to me at a final price of $55,200. Wow! That's over $7000 difference on the exact same car. Could Art have added a shipping fee to get the car from Macon to Savannah? Of course he could, did he? Nope...he professionally delivered the car the very next day, cleaned and ready to transfer at a savings of over $7000...why would anyone buy a car from Chatham Parkway Lexus and their fake "customer loyalty program", when you can get your car delivered to your house from Butler Lexus by Art at a legitimate discount and with professional service? If you choose to work with Chatham Parkway Lexus, be prepared to get hosed. You're forewarned.
