I stayed here for two nights with my extended family on 27-29/01/2020. I love the hotel in general. Very modern, unique, and creative. Especially the shared kitchen where every guest can cook by themselves.

However, my good impression had to be broken by small thing when we checked out. My father in law is old and cannot walk for more than 400m, so he decided to take a rest on 28 while the rest of the family went out. We planned to go out again with him on 29 after we checked out and before we go for the airport. Apparently, the locker system here is NOT like many other hotels where leaving the bags are complementary. We need to put it in the automatic locker where you do it by yourself. Our problem at that time was, we had 13 luggages while we had to open the box one by one with the payment process for 1 min each box and putting the luggage which taking the time 2-3 mins. We did not have much time. We asked the staff whether we can just leave the baggages in any storage and pay it manually. The man staff was directly said, "NO". Previously, when I asked him a ladder or chair where I can use to put the luggage in the upper locker, he said direclty "NO" too. "You should ask someone else to help you" he added very cold and straight. Thank god, he was covered by another women staff who showed an empathy by lending us a chair to put our luggages in the upper locker. She showed an emphaty again for the second time when the man said "No" harshly, when we ask for a manual storage. In the end, my father in law did not see anything in the Netherland but Meininger Hotel and the Cold Man Staff of Meininger Hotel. We went straight to the airport.

On the contrary, I would also like to appreciate the women staff who kept showing emphaty and hospitality. Your human touch meant a lot to us.
