Review of Amanda Webster Design

Our condominium association is almost 50 years old...

Our condominium association is almost 50 years old, and the last update was done about 20 years ago. Needless to say, the appearance of the buildings inside and out was dated and needed improving. We have a very talented Building Committee of owners, but felt that adding a professional designer would bring a cohesiveness and integrated design that would yield a great result. We were not disappointed!

Amanda met with our Building Committee on several occasions to discuss design considerations and help guide the renovation ideas. The Committee loved Amanda, her insights, and recommendations. Amanda prepared several concept sheets with various options based on the interests of the Committee members as well as her own recommendations. She then obtained samples of the various options for carpeting, wallpaper, paint, hardware, etc. for everyone to look at, and at the same time showed the combination of selections that she recommended. After laying out the samples in the lobbies, building entries, and building exteriors, the Committee chose Amanda s recommendations.

Amanda then prepared final concept sheets for mailing out to our ninety owners for approval. Seventy-four percent of the owners participated in voting (which is a huge turnout for a condominium association), and all but three people voted in favor of Amanda s design. The excitement and enthusiasm for what Amanda proposed is high, and we are looking forward to the completion of all of the work over the next year!
