I came in an ambulance with a shattered patella (knee cap) and I needed surgery, this hospital kept me for 4 days racked up the bills then literally kicked me out of the hospital. The case manager Jessica is in the wrong profession or is just an unprofessional bad person. The night before she said they were going to discharge me and I asked her why was I there so many days if I wasn t going to get surgery. Her answer with no emotion was this is not a hotel I had no idea where that came from when all I needed was surgery. The next day she personally came to tell me I was being discharged and I refused to leave unless I got treated (surgery) again she looked at me straight in the face telling me that this is not a hotel. I told her I m not trying to stay there for free I just wanted surgery. Why would you keep me for 4 days if you weren t going to perform surgery. She immediately said I m going to get security. I refused to sign anything but I agreed to leave. I was wheeled out and left on a bench. Two days later I went to Palm West hospital and was in surgery with Dr Rochman the very next day. Good Samaritan kept me to run up medical bills then literally kicked me out and left me in the curb. They took advantage of me because I was in pain and figured they would rob me and had no intention to perform surgery.
