Update: I posted this today, on a Sunday before the store opened. Ed the owner called first thing when they opened, left a voicemail and sent me a text. I called back shortly after and he couldn't have been more helpful. He apologized and offered to fix the problem right now. He was willing to open a stereo kit to use the parts to fix my issue today and he would have ordered the parts to replace in his kit. The phone number he left was his cellphone and said I could call him if I ever had any other issues.
Thank you Ed and because of your action I will do business with Destination again.
New 2018 cvo road glide stereo problem. Trailered it to them twice and rode it down there two other times before they even believed me something was wrong. They find a wire bundle to the left rear amp and speaker that was sagging down to the drive pulley. It had worn through and grounded out
They fix that but didn't diagnose the blown speaker so I trailer it back home to find out it has to go back again. I call the service idiot that I had been dealing with and he tells me I have to drop the bike off again so he can diagnose a blown speaker that he would have to order to replace it. He told me he would work on it when he could because he was backlogged over a month. He proceded to tell me there were other people ahead of me. Hey guy, news flash, this the same proplem youy failed to fix 6 months ago before you scheduled anybody that you say is in front of me. It's a rear bag speaker that I can take out in under a minute.
I went to jet city that day, they listened to the speaker and ordered it under warranty. They will call me when it's in. Done.
Destination no more
