Wow! At first, I was hesitant to drive all the way to Tampa location from Apollo Beach, as the Ruskin location was much closer to me. I was thinking that going to Ruskin would be more convenient; however, I took a chance looking online and checked which sites nearby had available appointments and, of course, Ruskin had none available until 2 weeks! What?! No!!! I ve had bad experiences waiting forever.

So I didn t want to wait, my daughter needed a road test soon, since I don t have that kind of flexible availability to coordinate our busy schedules, because she would have had to use my vehicle to test with. Luckily, there was only one 2:15 appt left, the night before I checked, but it was for the Tampa location. I quickly signed up for that time slot and gave my daughter a choice to go to selected appointment or just chance it and go to Ruskin and wait forever, if they even see us?!

So there we were at Tampa location, it was crowded, it s a good thing we arrived early by 2pm, they called us up a few minutes earlier than appt, so we didn t even warm up the waiting seats before my daughter was called by number. I couldn t believe how the whole process took about 30 minutes!!! It was completely organized, the staff were super friendly, and each station had these customer service buttons you can select from poor to excellent! I wish I could have pressed them all...to excellent! Thanks, DMV TAMPA location, you made an anticipating appointment worth returning and recommending to others!
