Living locally here in Tigard, Mount Hood Meadows is a great ski resort so close to home.

It definitely offers enough variety in all skill levels for anyone to get solid days of skiing while keeping it fresh.

I was there a lot this past season since my daughter is on her high school ski team. EVERYONE there was always super-accommodating, helpful, and genuinely friendly.

If you can catch a day right after (or during:-)) a snow dumping then you re in for a treat.
We caught that a couple of times and it was pure gold.
