Review of la Torretta

When we first checked into our room it was gross. The wall had chocolate smeared on it in plain view from the front door and it wasn't cleaned. There was a dead bug hanging from a light that wasn't removed. The coffee table was not cleaned at all and had drink liquid marks on it and was sticky. The carpet looked to be barely vacuumed. There were dead bugs under the curtains and when I moved the curtains I saw dust billow out like they've never been cleaned. There was also a ball from the previous guests that was left in the curtains, so you know the cleaning staff didn't even move the curtains to vacuum. And the balcony was the worst. The balcony was covered in spider webs and had two large spiders. It had a ton of dead bugs on the floor and was just dirty and unusable. Luckily the bed sheets a d bathroom was clean. I called the front desk and the staff quickly came up and cleaned everything. But it should have never been ready for a new guest in this condition. Just a horrible first impression that doesn't bring confidence to the hotel. The resort closed the Aqua Park due to lightning and thunder (which is understandable), but they don't have anything else to do here. They claim there's an arcade on their map and flyers, but it's completely closed down. I came here to enjoy the resort but ended up roaming the premisses bored and finally just played mini golf on a flooded course. If La Torretta reads this, here's some advice: I get it, you can't control nature, but you really need something for your guests to do since your main attraction is the Aqua Park. You have a ton of space with like 10 huge ballrooms. You should convert one of your ballrooms into a game room. Have couches, board games, playing cards. Maybe throw some gaming consoles with a couple of TV's. Put a few billard pool tables, table tennis, some foosball tables perhaps? It's a little sad that you had an entire hotel of guests with children, doing NOTHING on your resort and bored out of their minds because there basically is nothing to do here when the Aqua Park is closed aside from drinking at the bar, playing mini golf in the rain, or playing tennis with broken rackets. The gym was really nice though.
