Northstar California Resort by Welk Resort is located near Lake Tahoe and it's a great place to get away, it's very peaceful and quiet in the off peak season, and during peak season on the winter it's an incredible place to be for skiing or snowboarding or ice skating and a bunch of other activities. During the peak season in the summer, it's also a great time to be in Northstar for BMX bike racing.

The resort in and of itself is enormous, the room sizes are big, and if you're traveling with a huge family, a two bedroom is ample space.

The Northstar Resort is located about 20 minutes from Lake Tahoe which has an incredible view of nature. The area is peaceful and if you like the outdoors, you would find yourself immersed in the environment. So far Northstar is one of my getaways when I want to get back in touch with nature and being in the wilderness and enjoying the pine trees.

Within the surrounding areas, there are local restaurants and shops. Because of its location, you are maybe 30 minutes away from Reno. So if you're planning a getaway, I think adding Northstar Resort to your destination would be an enjoyable experience.
