My review is for the store only. I did not take the Tour or do any of the other activities.
First I'll say that Hershey Chocolate World is impressive in it's size. It's a huge place, especially considering that it's focus is so limited in scope. You can buy Hershey (or Reese's) branded clothes, toys, keychains, magnets, cups, and pretty much anything else that one can imagine.
Of course you can also buy candy. This is where I felt the store fell short. I was hoping to find something unique. Ultimately, though, 95% of the available candy could be bought at any corner market. In most cases it was only the available sizes that were at all unique. There were a few odd flavors of certain candies I hadn't seen before, but those were few and far between.
We left with a couple of items, totaling under $10. Judging by what I saw in the arms or carts of others, that's probably about the least anyone has ever spent there.
It was very crowded and noisy, as you'd probably expect. I can't see any possible reason to return. Maybe if I was already in the neighborhood and was wanting a whole case of Watchamacallits.
