It s crazy to me that there is a mandatory 3 hour wait every time I visit the emergency room. Do they not prioritize the patients? If I m having a real medical emergency, that takes precedence over homeless people and drug addicts who are just trying to get inside. I called my insurance company s 24 hour nurse line and they told me go to the emergency room right away. Within the next hour. That was 3 hours ago. They keep telling me I m next, but they keep calling other people. I asked for water and was denied until I see the doctor. But another patient was given water. I ve been here 3 hours, dehydrating, and have yet to see a doctor. The triage nurses dont listen and put whatever they want into your chart. I m dizzy. Can t stand. And I ve been sitting here for 3 hours. Very ghetto. Would not recommend
