As far as water parks in AZ, I would say that this one is one of the more basic. It was very nice, as I am a respite provider so I was awarded a season pass free of charge to go accompany the little boy I work with. That was very nice of them!! The wave pool is nice, and the lines weren't bad at all, but I have only been on a week day. There are always cabanas available. I have heard that in previous seasons, you got a dollar back when you return your raft rental. They no longer do that, so it kind of takes away the motivation to return the rather then pass off to someone else when you leave. They have one slide (purple) that I was informed has never worked in all years of operation. The food is a bit pricey, however that is almost expected. There is no shortage of lifeguards and the majority are very personable. Very no frills with just a few slides, but a good experience.
