My experience on third floor was horrible. I had a nurse give tyonal and granite its tyonal but my son cant take it its on the meds list as do not give, when i asked bout it she said she was worried cause he appeared to be in pain but no assessment was done and that if i was a good parent id let HER do what is right. Im a 5 year corpsmen for the navy and am no dummy when it comes to medical. When i told them that i wanted to leave with my son to a real hospital they called a charge nurse that started threaten me to the point i had to call security on her. The security was a good guy a vet and explain to them about corpsmen and how its not best intrest of her or hospital to threaten vets. This hospital believes they are in right of all the parents advocates are not that but for the hospital. The hospital also believes theybare the only one to make calls in the care of the patients and parents are "in the way" as one doc said to me. Its a learning school and the doctor tried to do a lung tap for what he BELIEVED was fluid on lung but was guessing, when asked how did you come up with that he said im a fellow i know.
