The majority of the staff was not very competent, seemingly always had some rules the customer request. This was at check-in. "Hello, I would like to check in" (typing in the computer) "You still have to pay for your room" ... (Does not this at check-out?) Instead of a "Nice to see you there are". I have around 200 hotel stays a year, but I have not experienced so much unprofessionality at the reception. Watching football in the lounge on the 5th floor? At first, it was not until a competent employee made that possible. Eat a snack in the foyer while watching football? It does not work. Iron shirts? There you have to first inform yourself 20 minutes. Question "How long does that take?" Answer: "That costs money" ... is somehow funny, but not very professional. In the completely overburdened and understaffed sky bar (yes, there were 2 conferences in the house, but you know that before) I waited an hour for a drink that - although I asked three times - was finally forgotten. Sign of apology? Schnapps on the house? Nothing like that ... The service manager (man in a dark suit with a very large nose) during our gala has the service ladies so touched that this z.T. At some point, they were just sneaking around the hall intimidated. I found the tone of conversation impossible and inappropriate, which was more unpleasant to me as a guest. Smoky after breakfast smokers at breakfast also unpleasant and the incompetence of the gentlemen at the check-out also annoyed me ... The front desk was at every touchpoint in terms of content a disaster. Incapable and incompetent.
The hotel is really nicely decorated, but the staff looks very poorly trained. If I do not have to, I will not visit the house any more - it's a pity, because the decor and everything fits ... The lounge was great (David - very reliable, great service, very friendly and competent).
