Amazing subs. Superior to most any other place. The cold cut subs are great with high quality Italian meats. The hot subs (e.g. meatball or Italian sausage) are very good as well. Family run business old school place. The giardiniera is on point. There is even a small Italian grocery inside. Nothing negative to report. You are not really a UIC student if you never eat at Fontano's.
