In a word, disappointed. The food was nice, but not spectacular. But what really let things down is the service. We ordered the five course set lunch with wine pairings. First course came, but no wine pairing. Just before the second course, the waiter came to give us glasses for the wine pairing. I asked 'weren't we supposed to receive a wine pairing with the first course?' and he said yes. No apology for forgetting - just 'yes' and ready to pour the wine for course two. So I said 'never mind, we will just order a bottle then' - not wanting to pay $140 per person for a wine pairing on a five course meal when we had already missed a course. He then said 'I will go ask the chef.' Huh? He never returned. I had to ask again 10 minutes later to see the wine list. Then waited another ten minutes for another waiter to come take the wine order.

Mistakes happen - no worries, that is fine.
But no apology for the oversight? No attempt to make it right? Not what you expect from a Michelin star restaurant where you drop $300+ per person.

We love fine dining restaurants - but really wish we had chosen somewhere else for my husband's birthday lunch today.

Not worth the price point - save your money and go to Odette. Far superior in food and service quality, not to mention ambience - and comparable in price.
