History of the Nile Petroleum
The Nile Petroleum Company was established since 1954, where it was known as the Egyptian French Oil Company, and in its commercial names it was transformed from a branch of Caltex Company and then as a branch of Total International Company, where it was known as the Nile Company for the supply and trade of oils in light of a partnership with the Government of Sudan in 1978 in which the state owned 75% of the shares The company, and in 1993, the Nile Petroleum Company became pure national.
