Came to the Zoo on a Sunday, it was pretty full but parking was pretty well coordinated. $21 (no taxes/fees) for adult admission. We did park in the preferred parking for a $10 fee closest to the entrance as is was rather full and we didn t want to park far. The preferred parking is cash only. Lines for purchasing admission tickets is long. Took us 30min/40min to get through the line. Buy and print tickets at home so you don t have to wait! You get to go straight to the gate. If you purchase tickets there with a card, ID is required (no exceptions!)
We spent about 4 hours here and went through nearly every exhibit (no shows). There is a giraffe feeding experience offered (times posted at admission window) and we did do it. Only $5 per person (cash only). A fun thing to do, you get 3 pieces of food and feed the giraffe individually. I recommend getting in line for this 45min-1hr before the scheduled time. We were 5th in line (we got in like 45min prior) and there was an estimated 40 people behind us.
Food is expensive so I suggest bringing snacks and drinks (they are allowed), however do not bring glass/aluminum or anything like small plastics. Coolers are also allowed.
