This is one of my favorite hotels ever (and I've stayed at places like the Four Seasons before)!

Essentially, the place consists of a number of apartment buildings that have been converted into the hotel. So, what you get is a complete one or two bedroom apartment. Most notably, this includes a full kitchen.

The staff is extremely helpful, and they offer a free shuttle service to nearby locations. On my first stay there, they drove me to a nearby grocery store and then picked me up when I'd finished shopping. This let me stock the kitchen and make my own food for the remainder of my stay.

And this is why I love the place: I travel enough that going out to eat every single day for every single meeting is tiring. Just being able to make my own simple dinner is nice and relaxing.

To address some of the other reviews, no place is perfect. Pittsburgh is very hilly and there are therefore steps everywhere. But when I've had lots of luggage, the staff volunteered to help me move it. And, no, the walls are not glass-and-steel like a modern fancy hotel, but rather plaster like you'd find in an average apartment. For me, this is a positive: I want to relax in my hotel room, and glass-and-steel might be shiny but it hardly feels like home.

And, therefore, I come back here again and again.
