I have dealt with some strata management companies...
I have dealt with some strata management companies at several levels as owner, investor and strata council member and in my experience I find Rancho to be the most reliable and easiest to deal with.
I made a condo investments in 2009 at a building that was being managed by a different strata management company and right after completion the strata fees went up 30%. At the end of the first year strata fees went up another 13% (for a total of 43% in less than two years). After that experience I now make sure to find out who the property management company in charge of a new development will be before I even consider it. Rancho on the other hand has proven to know how to work out their budget better. They increased the strata fees at the cost of living rate of approx 3% yearly since the first year.
At the Park Place buildings, which is one of the largest strata buildings in the lower mainland, the property has been very well maintained. I find Gus Ramirez, the property manager, to be very helpful in always addressing any questions or concerns in a prompt manner. He brings a lot of experience to the buildings and Jason, the building Supervisor, has also done a great job overall with great ideas for improvements.I have not received one complaint from my tenant in over two years (since completion). I believe Rancho s team has played a big role in this. To be able to count with a team that will help to preserve the value of my hard earn dollars and the reputation of the building is what matters to me. In my opinion Rancho has done a great job in doing so.
