My daughter was taken by ambulance to McLaren Lape...

My daughter was taken by ambulance to McLaren Lapeer Region hospital. Otherwise she would have never been seen here. She was taken in because she fainted at school and was unresponsive until after EMS arrival. While The hospital did run test they failed to come up with any explanation what so ever of her condition. That s fine, we will be seeking the treatment of doctors anyway. My one star review is due to several mishaps that took place in just 3 hours at the hospital.
1.) my daughter passed out and fell 45 minutes prior to the RN allowing her to stand up on her own and go to the bathroom with zero assistance. She walked away and just left her in ther. Never came back to
Check on her or ask if she felt dizzy. Just seems bizarre.
2.) after coming back from the bathroom the nurse handled urine. Never washed her hands. Hooked up the IV fluids without cleaning the port after my daughter had just come from the bathroom.
3.)On the ambulance ride they tested her blood sugar. It made her finger bleed more than usual so the EMT put a banaid on her finger. Once it stopped bleeding and we took her bandage off there was dried blood on her finger. So, I grabbed and alcohol pad out of the top drawer(I had already gotten permission to get her a pair of socks so I knew where the pads were) When I opened the pad is was bone dry. So my sister who s an RN at UofM checked the package and it was expired since 2013
And several other little things that are less than desirable in a hospital setting.
