I recently went to tobago for the first time ever ...

I recently went to tobago for the first time ever visiting the beautiful country for my co workers wedding. I booked a deluxe double room ocean front room which was suppose to fit 4 individuals (but it does not, the beds are full size). The wedding party took up most of the "available" occupancy in the hotel. Ill explain why i put available in quotation marks in a second. Now keep in my i travel and stayed in many hotels all over the world, but this hotel has got to be one of the worst hotels ever. I dont even know where to begin, but ill start by saying the only nice thing about the hotel is the amazing view from the main pool overlooking the ocean and some of tobago. However that did not make up for the trouble i occured throughout my stay. Now keep in mind i came there with a large party (maybe 100 guest) in which i believe we all use the group code provided for us when booking the room so you would think the entire wedding party would of been on the same floor or close to each other but this poor hotel management team spreaded us out all over this large resort. My assigned room was at the far end of the resort, in which we damn near begged up until the last 2 days to move us closer, and was giving a response that there is nothing available, even with the multiple issues with the room. The hotel provided little golf carts to drive us to the rooms when needed, but was hardly available going and coming from the room. Next one of the man big problems i had with this resort is there was ABSOLUTELY no hot water thee entire stay, not to mention the water pressure out the shower and sink was extremely low. And when i complained about the situation, i was told there was a water man break on thursday (the day i arrived), there is no hot water anywhere in tobago, and its being fixed. But that wasnt the truth. They shut the water off overnight on friday claiming to fix the issue, however the water continue cold the entire stay. I was literally heating up hot water in a coffee pot in the hotel room to have hot water to wash with. And when i did suck it up and bathe in cold water i was literally showering under small drips of water out the shower head. I spoke with another hotel guest who was there over a week before i arrived and she didnt have hot water her entire stay there, and that Vinod, hotel manager was lying about it being because of a water break. I even ask locals if they had hot water run and they replied yes. I know this is late but i also then looked at old reviews online of the resort which also started resort has no hot water. So why sell these room and host this wedding without alerting us that you have a problem with hot water. I guess as long as you collected our money spent on the resort, it didnt mater. Complaining to the hotel manager Vinod was absolutely useless, he did nothing but say im sorry and offered one day refund from your stay, while i demanded for half off everynight i didnt have hot water. I definitely was not satisfied after all the issues i experienced. Another issue was when asked for a folded bed/cot because it was three single people who stayed in this room and the beds were full size beds, not big enough for 2 people, i was told it could not fit in the room and they dont have none available which was a lie. Besides the hotel not having hot water and bedding issue we i did notice that most of the entire resort was under construction, and renovations was being made. Why not close the hotel to renovate the entire place or one side of the resort, instead host a wedding party to deal with these poor accommodations and view the demolition of your resort. Pictures posted shower the issues we had as well as the fold bed provided to something who checked in after i did. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to my worst enemy and will NEVER do business with them again.
