My wife and I applied with Paws 2 Care as required...

My wife and I applied with Paws 2 Care as required to adopt a dog that we saw on their website. It has been 3 weeks , and still our application has not been processed, or our references contacted. We have visited the shelter several times since our initial contact, (a 40 mile round trip) to to spend time with the dog, and have been assured by the staff, that our application is in process. 3 to 5 business days was promised by the shelter on the web site. Numerous texts and phone messages left with Ana Bueno, who appears as the only person approving these applications, have gone unanswered. Not a good sign.

"Benji" is still up on their site for adoption, which is sad, as this dog and others there, are living in small cages, when there are people waiting to take them into loving and caring homes, and give them a quality life.

It is our opinion that Paws 2 Care could be a donation scam, and if you are seriously interested in adopting a pet, we encourage you to look elsewhere.
