I heard about this restaurant by reading a profile...

I heard about this restaurant by reading a profile of one of my favorite baseball players. It was mentioned that this is his favorite restaurant in NY to dine in. Since I am a big fan of the team he plays on as well, I wanted to give this place a try.
Me and my wife decided to come here and make it a date night. I was a little nervous because my wife usually not convinced with my choice of restaurants. She agreed to come with me because:
1) I really wanted to come here and try the food.
2) She did her research online by reading reviews and by looking at pictures and description of the menu items.
The ambiance was nice, small, cozy, romantic and not crowded. It looks like it is a couples friendly restaurant.
Most importantly, the food was fantastic! Everything on the menu we ordered from the appetizers to desserts tasted very delicious. Even my wife was impressed and loved the food! It was so good that this is, in my opinion, hands down, the BEST Italian restaurant in NYC and the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten in. It was even better than any restaurant we ate at when we were in Italy for our honeymoon!
However, there is one minor drawback...they are not generous with the portion size for the price we paid. This is why I had to deduct one star from this review.
Guys, if you have a girl or a wife you want to impress, bring them here and they will love you forever :)
